Scattered everywhere
Marketplace reviews, G2 and Trustpilot, your own store, Reddit threads, YouTube comments, complaint boards. Each holds part of the story, and none of them talk to each other.
Brand observability for D2C brands, SaaS companies and their investors
Outsight reads every review, post and complaint about your brand, on marketplaces and app stores, G2 and Trustpilot, Reddit, YouTube, Instagram and the news. It ties each one to the product it's about and tells you what is going wrong, where, and whether it's getting worse. Every week.
Complaints that the coating melts in transit rose to 21% of 1–3★ Protein Bar reviews this quarter, led by Amazon.in and Flipkart. Praise for taste held steady.
“The chocolate layer had completely melted and stuck to the wrapper.”
“Best tasting bar I've had, and not chalky at all.”
Mentions of slow support replies doubled to 18% of the conversation this quarter, mostly on Reddit and G2. Praise for quick setup held steady.
“Took four days to get a reply about a failed payment run.”
“Set it up in an afternoon. The Stripe sync just worked.”
Sample reports for fictional brands, with illustrative data.
Plus store review apps such as Judge.me, Yotpo, Okendo, Loox, Stamped, Reviews.io and Nector. Over 20 channels in all, and the report names any it couldn't read.
Marketplace reviews, G2 and Trustpilot, your own store, Reddit threads, YouTube comments, complaint boards. Each holds part of the story, and none of them talk to each other.
A 4.4★ average can hide a melting bar, a size that runs small or a support queue that takes four days. The reason is in the words, and nobody reads the words.
Social listening tells you how loud people are about your brand. It doesn't tell you which product is breaking, on which channel, or whether it's getting worse.

How it works
Outsight works out what you sell, where you sell it and where people talk about you.
Every listing, app and review page is matched to your product lines and variants. We confirm it with you before anything is collected.
Reviews, comments, posts and complaints are collected, and each is tagged against themes specific to your brand.
A full report on everything said so far, then a short update each week on what changed.
Product level
Outsight finds your products wherever they're listed, including variation families, renamed listings, retired products and your apps on both stores, and ties each review to the product and variant it's about. So “the coating melts” lands on the Cocoa bar, and “the iOS app logs me out” lands on the app.
Trends you can trust
A theme is called rising only when the numbers hold up: shares compared within each channel, tested for significance, with minimum sample sizes. When there isn't enough to go on, the report says “too few to call” instead of guessing.
Every Monday
Each week Outsight writes up what changed: volume and ratings against the four weeks before, themes rising or easing, rating moves on your listings, new products. Every highlight cites the reviews behind it. Older items found late are labelled backfill, never passed off as news.
A heavier week: 62 reviews, against about 23 a week before. Most of the increase is Protein Bar reviews on Amazon.in after the October restock, a third of them about melted coating.
Honest coverage
Every request to every source is recorded with how it ended. If a store let us read only part of its reviews, or a channel blocked us, the report says how much was read and what's missing, instead of quietly leaving it out.
Store figures cover the newest 10,000 of 29,446 reviews, posted 18 May – 26 Oct.
Namesakes stay out. A theme park, a fan forum or another company with a name like yours won't end up in your report.
Merge two themes, hide one, fix a tag: later weeks respect it, and every change can be undone.
App Store and Google Play reviews for your apps, and every physical outlet with its own reviews.
Your account's posts and comments, and creators' posts that name you, read with everything else.
Only people you invite see your reports. Your organization's admin manages your team.
Our team works with an assistant that reads your data, so a question about your brand gets an answer, not a spreadsheet.
For investors and holding companies
D2C brands and software companies side by side, measured by one method, so comparisons are fair. See a quality problem or a slipping channel before it shows up in the numbers.
For consumer brands: marketplaces (Amazon.in, Flipkart, Myntra, Nykaa, AJIO, BigBasket, Tata 1mg, HealthKart, FirstCry), your store's own reviews and complaint boards. For software: G2, Trustpilot, the App Store and Google Play. For everyone: Reddit, YouTube, X, Instagram and the news. Which ones depends on where your customers are.
Yes. For a SaaS company Outsight reads G2 and Trustpilot reviews, your apps on both stores, and the conversation on Reddit, X, YouTube and the news. When most of the talk is in posts rather than reviews, the report is built on that conversation instead.
No. Outsight reads what is public: the reviews your store already shows, marketplace and review-site listings, app store pages and public posts. There's nothing to install and nothing to connect.
Social listening counts mentions of a brand. Outsight ties each review and mention to the product it is about, keeps themes stable over time so weeks compare, and tests whether a change is real before calling it a trend.
India first, with its marketplaces covered in depth. Review sites, app stores and social channels work in any market.
The report says so. Quick commerce apps, for example, can't be read yet, so they show up as a gap rather than silently missing. Every request to every source is recorded with its outcome.
